Empowered Me Wellness ("we", "us") is a sole proprietorship based in Hamilton, Bermuda. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights over it.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and (optional) phone number, if you create an account.
- Booking information: name, email, and phone number if you book a class as a guest; your account details if you're logged in.
- Purchase information: your email address and what you bought. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
- Contact form submissions: your name, email, and message.
- Newsletter subscriptions: your email address.
- Technical information: IP address and basic usage data, collected automatically for security purposes (e.g. rate limiting to prevent abuse) and, if enabled, website analytics.
Why we collect it
We use this information to: provide the booking and purchase services you request; send transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, cancellation notices, password resets); respond to enquiries; send newsletter updates to subscribers; maintain accurate business and financial records; and keep the site secure.
Who we share it with
We share information with the third-party services that make this site work, and with no one else:
- Stripe (payment processing) — receives what's needed to process a purchase.
- Resend (email delivery) — receives your email address and message content to send you transactional emails.
- Render (hosting and database) — stores the data described above on our behalf.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept while your account is active. Booking and order records are kept as part of our business and financial record-keeping, generally for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, even after an account is deleted (see below).
Your rights, and account deletion
You can update your name and phone number at any time from your account settings. You can request deletion of your account at any time, also from account settings.
When you delete your account, we remove your personal identifying information (name, email, phone) and permanently disable login to that account. We do not delete the underlying booking and order records — these are retained, with your personal details removed and replaced with an anonymized placeholder, so that our business and financial records stay accurate. This means a booking history entry survives in an anonymized form; it can no longer be linked back to you.

Security
Passwords are never stored in plain text. All traffic to and from this site is encrypted (HTTPS). We apply reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.
